Interview with "The Britton Group" June 23rd, 2012

Keshia: "You've been dancing since the age of two, what got you into dance?"

Day Day: "Dance came natural to me. I was dancing before I could walk. I could only balance myself while the music played, once the music stopped I sat down. My mom has footage of the proof."

Keshia:  "When you dance what do you feel?"

Day Day: "When I dance I feel care free."

Keshia: "What are your future plans as a dancer?"

Day Day: "My future plans as a dancer is to dance for and tour with many celebrity artist. I also want to be known around the world as one of the greatest dancers in the industry."

Keshia: "What type of discipline does it take to do what you do?"

Day Day: "The only discipline I have right now is making sure I keep my grades up in school or else my mom will not allow me to dance."

Keshia: "Your mom is your manager. That's very common in this industry. What are the perks of having your mom as a manager?"

Day Day: "I don't have to worry about being mislead or taken advantage of because I know I can trust my mom to make sure my business is being taken care of."

Keshia: "What do you study to help you improve your craft?"

Day Day: "To be honest, I do not study anything. Dance is a natural talent for me."

Keshia: "What kind of music do you listen to?"

Day Day: "I listen to r&b, hip-hop, rap, gospel and some pop."

Keshia: "What is your favorite type of dancing?"

Day Day: "Hip-hop"

Keshia: "What drives you?"

Day Day: "Knowing that if I just keep going I will soon reach my goals."

Keshia:  "What advice would you give to young aspiring dancers, and those who are contemplating getting into this industry?"

Day Day: "Keep God first, stay in school and NEVER give up on your dreams. As long as you pray God will make sure all of your dreams will come true."

Keshia: "What have you learned about your industry by being such a seasoned dancer? I see you have been in a lot of commercials and have appeared in movies."

Day Day: "I haven't really learned anything about the industry that my mom hasn't already prepared me for. My mom has prepared me for the up's and down's of this business so nothing or no one in this business really surprise me."

Keshia: "Who inspires you?"

Day Day: "I am inspired by the teen artist who are out grinding everyday and making a name for themselves. I am also inspired by people in the industry who started off dancing and are now huge names in the industry such as P. Diddy, J. Lo, Missy Elliott, Laurie Gibson, Debby Allen etc. If they can do it I know I can too."
